Laurel is our Managing Director, which sees her working across several Law North teams.  She is a respected problem solver and trusted advisor in Kerikeri and the Far North, with experience in rural law (farm sales and purchases), succession or asset and estate plans, property, trusts, relationship property, aged care, and commercial activities. Her advice is informed by a broad range of experience across both commercial and voluntary organisations at local, regional and national levels.  Clients value Laurel’s ability to find strategic, practical and holistic solutions to complex problems, as well as her friendly and down-to-earth approach. 

 

Laurel enjoys building strong relationships with clients and takes pride in supporting individuals, families and businesses throughout the growing Kerikeri and Northland community.          

 

A proud Northland local, Laurel returned to Kerikeri after time away for study, travel and career moves. She and her husband have a dairy farming business in the area. Outside of work, the farm, their three children, and wider family and community commitments keep her busy, but whenever possible she enjoys Northland’s beautiful coastline and spending time with friends.
