Subdivisions

The Bay of Islands area of Northland is one of the fastest growing in New Zealand. Land development and subdivisions are a major part of this and, as a result, our firm has had considerable experience with land development and subdivisions.

The subdivision process often commences with the investigation surrounding the purchase of the undeveloped land. We have found that being able to advise a client at that stage greatly assists in the whole process and the success of the project.

In addition to large scale subdivisions, many of our clients have carried out small subdivisions, often only subdividing one small block from their property. While we do not need to be involved to the same extent with a small subdivision, we have still found that it assists if we are involved in the initial discussions, as this can lead to a faster subdivision process and a reduction in costs.
