Having been operating in Northland for over 100 years the firm has substantial experience in the administration of estates. Our Director Simon Dominick has particular expertise in this area although all of our commercial lawyers have a background in estate administration as well.
A number of our legal executives specialise in estate administration and under the supervision of the appropriate director can carry out the deceased’s wishes and resolve all of the administration issues within an appropriate time frame. It must be remembered that the administration of estates by the very nature of the law under which executors operate takes some time. There are legal requirements that an executor must complete that prevents immediate release of funds in most cases. A properly drafted Will, will help.
