Over the past decade, small forestry holdings, particularly on rural land, have increased their importance to the economy of the Far North. Forestry and timber processing operations are both a large-scale industry and small-scale investment for local farmers and owners of larger blocks. Carbon credit trading is becoming increasingly common.

At Law North Limited, we are developing a niche expertise in these areas, particularly for our farming and timber processing operator clients. Our director, Simon Dominick, being a part owner of a small forestry holding has particular interest and growing expertise in this area.
